About Us
Grouse Mountain Tyee Ski Club is one of the longest running ski clubs in Canada (est 1929) and has a rich history. We are located minutes away from Vancouver BC on beautiful Grouse Mountain.
The Tyee Club works to develop the physical and ski specific qualities of kids aged 6 thru 14 (Nancy Greene Ski League, KStar, K1 & K2 programs). Our members represent a large group of families that participate year round within a positive, fun, social network that supports our athletes, coaches and alpine skiing. By joining the club for the coming season(s), you are buying into a community club, one that is run by members, for members and their kids!
Because of the commitment and enthusiasm of our members, the Grouse Mountain Tyee Ski Club has achieved some really important milestones in the past 2 years.
-In 2006/07, we were the biggest club in BC, with a close second place in the following season!
-In 2007/2008, the club won a very prestigious award for the top club in BC! The award, officially titled “Best Club Development,” was awarded by BC Alpine Ski Association and recognizes the work we have done to improve the quality of our programs.
