Tichy Racing Summer Camp 2010 @ Mt Hood, Oregon
Winter is coming to an end all over North America...however in Oregon it will be around at least through the end of August. Another recent storm this weekend has brought the annual snowfall to over 450 inches in 2009/2010. The Palmer snowfield is well covered (east & west) showing only an amazing smooth training surface from Lane #1 to Lane #20. See pictures below.
Tichy Racing will again offer you the very best lane(s) and most up-to-date coaching staff this summer. Space is still available ranging from the starting clinic in late May to the last chance for summer snow in early September. Summer Ski 2010 kicks off with Clinic #1 on May 21st and rounds up September 6th with Clinic #8; there are eight 10-day camps between, June 1st and August 30th. Although you can book any camp on the schedule, Camp #7 (Aug. 10-20) is targetted for Grouse Tyee Racers. This will be 8 days on snow, 10 days total camp (lodging & meals). Arrival is Aug 10 PM and departure is Aug 20 AM. Regular camp price is $1695-US, however Tyee discount puts it at $1525-US. The camps are meant for K1/K2/J1 racers, however strong 9/10 yr olds have had a lot of success at our camps.
Registration is open and some sessions are filling up quickly. A $100 deposit will hold you place in the camp(s) / clinic(s) of your choice; final payment is not due until 30 days prior to your arrival. These camps and clinics have the lowest prices and offer the best racer to coach ratio of any real ski camp in North America. Lodging and meals are first class and only modern and safe equipment and transportation is used. Registration can be done on the www.tichyracing.com website but make sure to indicate you are with Tyee so the discount gets applied.
