Registration deadline: Tuesday, 15 January 2019

Age categories: Under 13 = U12, U14 (age is calculated as of Dec 31, 2018)

"Please keep in mind that once registered the only option to cancel the registration is by communicating directly with the event organizer ( or BEFORE the registration deadline. Not paying for 2the event will NOT automatically cancel the registration."

The Whistler Blackcomb Ski and Snowboard Cross events are recreational competitions open to all ages. Amateur skiers and boarders will compete in different age and discipline divisions on the Nintendo Terrain Park Snowcross course.

Please note: the Snowcross events are 2 day events - competitors MUST participate on both days.

Places are limited in each category. Pre-registration is strongly recommended.
This is a parent arranged event, meaning that all transport, accommodation, meals, lift tickets and event registration are to be done on your own.

Eligibility: All Grouse Tyee U12 (born 2008 and 2007) and U14 (under 13, 2005 & 2006)
Meeting time & place:  8 am - Base II (Lot 6 for example)
Pick up: at 3 pm - Base II
Registration: TWOFOLD: FIRST !!!! with Whistler Blackcomb Guest Relations (race entry) to secure a spot and ONLY THEN also on our website (for covering coaches expenses)

Cost: 25$ (expenses for coaches) PLUS entry fee to be paid to Whistler Blackcomb, see below

Waiver: Bring a filled out and signed waiver in the morning to be found HERE

For those who do not participate, regular training is taking place on Grouse Mountain as well.

Awards: If you would like to attend awards with your kids: Awards party with prizes and award at 18 Below (Base II) at 4 pm with video playback, draw prizes. All competitors eligible for great prizes.. Participants must be at the awards in order to win prizes.

SkiCross is a 2 day event!! - competitors MUST participate on both days. Day 1 - training and timed seeding run; day 2 - training and cross competition (4 competitors at the same time) racing in an elimination rounds format. All around, there will be plenty of runs on the terrain course and if you advance through the rounds, you will have lots of race runs. Bring GS skis and remember that speed suits are not allowed. However, you should wear the most aerodynamic pants, sweater/jacket that you have.


EARLY registration is strongly recommended as places are limited in each category.

We do not recommend registering on race day because in the last couple of years all the places are filled up prior to the race. More details can be found here:

In addition, you must also register online with TYEE here, so we know how many Tyee coaches to bring to Whistler. The cost for Tyee coaches travel expenses for the 2 days is $25.
