Years of coaching experience?

15 years

Peak and Expo Glades

Blue & grey combo

Best mountain/place you've gone skiing?

I love Silver Star.

What brought you to coach within the alpine ski racing community?

Sead C. changed my life and got me into coaching.

[Sead was the program director at Grouse Tyee for over 8 years]

What does an ideal ski day look like for you?

Any day skiing with friends, coaches, athletes and parents if they share the joy of skiing.

How do you know when you’ve delivered an on-snow coaching session of high quality?

When time flies and there is a flow in delivering the session, having everybody engaged and smile at the end of the session.

What sports did you compete in? Highlight of your career as an athlete?

Competed for my University in Judo. If we are talking prior results, it was 2nd place at the USSR championship Judo and 3rd in Sambo.

If you could give only one piece of advice to your athletes for the rest of your coaching career, what would tell them?

You have to want to want to get to the next level, and then the next and the next that you can enjoy skiing even more and more.

Highlight of your coaching career?

Had about 22 coaches and 135 athletes at some point. It was a lot of work, but fun running a big program.

What do you look forward to most this season?

To working with my coaches, developing athletes/coaches and tons of snow!
