My home: Blackcomb Mountain.

What brought you to coach within the alpine ski racing community?

It's the only community I've ever known.

What does an ideal ski day look like for you?

It can vary... sunny groomers or some deep deep powder.

How do you know when you’ve delivered an on-snow coaching session of high quality?

The athletes are fatigued but still have a great smile.

What’s your session goal for athletes when dealing with a heavy weather and dense training day?

Focus on body awareness and feelings.

Highlight of your career as an athlete? What sport?

Placing 2nd, 3rd at U20 nationals; forerunning Panorama WC DH.

If you weren't coaching alpine ski racers, what sport would you coach?

Surfing, I think ski coaches have a unique skill set that translates over well, the eye for edges/rail work!

Highlight of your coaching career?

Watching former athletes in the Olympics.
