U12 skicross - Speed training at Whistler 25 Jan report
The U12 team, together with 8 kids from Seymour, rented the skicross track in Whistler on 25 January.
The day was a big hit and everyone truly enjoyed themselves. .
The team were able to work on their speed and GS turns in a safe environment and to really push their skills to the limit.
The conditions were perfect: sunshine with hard, cold snow that really held our edges. Sadly, because of the low snowfall we had a shorter, course than normal but that didn't hold us back.
