The Grouse Mountain Tyee Ski Club is continuing its Sponsorship Program this year after a very successful season. It was again gratifying to see a number of new sponsors join the group last year and have our media partners continue to help us reach a broader audience to promote our racing programs and recognize our sponsors.

The past year was one of great skiing, individual and team accomplishments, newfound confidence, and a sense of community in a new generation of young alpine ski racers. I am writing to ask all Club members to help maintain this momentum and to help us aim even higher in the upcoming season. The Tyee Club is seeking to attract businesses interested in corporate sponsorship opportunities, and I ask our members to assist in our outreach by introducing us to your company or to other businesses you believe would be interested in supporting our wonderful club and the sport we are passionate about.

We have a large and dedicated group of parent volunteers and enjoy the best coaches a club could dream of having.  We are extremely fortunate to have as our Program Director Andrea Adorno, who brings with him international experience and a passion for developing athletes. Sponsorship allows the volunteer driven and self-funded Tyee Club to maintain a high level of training and performance from our athletes and gives local businesses recognition and exposure in a number of ways, including placement of their logo on all Club signage, race and training banners and bibs, coaching and team jackets, the Tyee Club web site and the team van and trailer that travels the province. 

Sponsorship levels of Platinum ($10,000), Gold ($6,000), Silver ($3,000) and Bronze ($1,000) are offered, each with specific recognition and perks for the sponsor. 

Funds raised through corporate sponsorships will go towards important training and safety equipment and Race Centre improvements. Sponsors will be provided opportunities to ski with us and to see firsthand the amazing skills possessed by Club athletes of all ages. Complimentary Grouse Mountain ski day tickets and a host of other benefits come with sponsorship.
